Award Acceptance Speech: The Versatile Blogger Award

Mom in Love with Fiction has received its first award. Many thanks to The Writing Well Project for bestowing upon this blog The Versatile Blogger Award.

First of all, let me say I love this blog. The description alone will have you clicking over: Embracing a passion for reading and writing and unlocking doors of opportunity. Where my imagination of writing is a well of words drawn out to create marvelous stories.

Wow. That's what I aspire to do.

Seven Things About Myself:
Talking about myself only gets harder each time I have to do it. But here goes...

1. I'll read any genre. Until recently, this exluded horror. But thanks to many wonderful recommendations, I plan to dip my toe gradually into this genre in 2012.
2. I have three beautiful daughters: Jackie, Reagan, and Maddie. They hold my heart and confound my brain.
3. I've been married for sixteen years (seventeen on 3/25/12) to my wonderful husband, Ed. I met him my third day of college living. I hadn't even started classes yet.
4. I have only put down three books in my life: A Year in Provence, Wicked, and The Count of Monte Cristo. I would like to try The Count of Monte Cristo again, but not the other two.
5. My favorite sandwich: peanut butter and bananas with mayo.
6. I love to read in the bathtub. As much as I'm beginning to appreciate my Kindle, I dare not use it in my favorite reading spot.
7. My middle name is Cher. My mother was watching the Sonny & Cher Show when she went into labor.
