Family Time

My mom, dad, sister and her baby Samantha (14 mths) were just here for a week. Now my house is overly quiet and my kids are inexplicably mad at me. It was so much fun to have a baby in my house again. Now, with Maddie almost 5 (Gasp, where have the years gone?!?!), there is a new kind of chaos in the Bach household. There's a lot more rolling eyes and Whatevers, but there's also a lot more fun times, game nights, movie nights, conversations, etc.

On Dana's last night, I got a babysitter and we went out for an adult night. So fun! Nothing better than great friends, my husband and my sister all in the same room. Plus, Dana actually trusted me to pick a competent babysitter to watch her first child. And we all know how much pickier we were back then. With my first baby, I wanted references and did trial runs. Now, I pull over when I see a teenager walking on the street and ask if they want to earn a little extra cash. Settle down, I'm kidding. Well, mostly.
