Melissa Ashford has good reason to be leery of men--her ex-husband cheated on her. But when a new man waltzes into her life, one who makes her feel like no man ever has, can she start to have faith again? If Brett has anything to say about it, she will.

Just as she starts to believe she can, her ex-husband re-enters her life. He claims to want Melissa back, but his methods are dangerous. Melissa has a fight on her hands. Will she have the strength to do what it takes? And will Brett still be there when the dust settles?

First things first. Readers looking for hot and steamy, look no further. The pages practically melted in my hands. No slow build here. Expect romance and heat very early on. But it's not just a hot romance, there's plenty of suspense as well. I won't give anything away, but the last few pages are quite intense.

But what I loved best about this book... when put in a position to be a victim, Melissa decides not to be. Brett loves that about her, and that's one of the sexiest things about him. And he's all kinds of sexy.

This was the first book I've read by LP Dover, and it certainly won't be my last. I highly recommend this sexy and suspenseful read.
